A Delegation from Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visits Toyota Libya’s Headquarters in Misrata

Toyota Libya welcomed today Mr. Yohei Onishi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Izuru Shimmura, Ambassador of Japan to Libya. The visit aimed to provide the delegation with an overview of the company’s business environment and the city of Misrata in general, as well as to explore opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation between Japan and Libya.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to Toyota Libya’s activities in vehicle sales, after-sales services, the supply of genuine spare parts, and technical training.

Members of the delegation expressed their appreciation for the high professional standards demonstrated across Toyota Libya’s operations and for the company’s efforts to develop professional and technical capabilities in Libya.

The “Discover Your Talent” program received particular attention for providing practical automotive training to young Libyans, helping them acquire the skills and knowledge required to enter the job market.

The visit also highlighted Toyota Libya’s long-term commitment to the Libyan market through the provision of high-quality products and services, the development of a professional dealer network serving Toyota owners across Libya, and continued investment in Libyan youth and technical education.
