Today, Toyota Libya revealed four completely new models of its cars, for the first time in the Libyan market, which are:

Corolla Cross / Belta / Rumion / Urban Cruiser

Corolla Cross

If you are brave, then you must own Corolla Cross.

The Corolla Cross, in its all-new C-SUV, comes in a form that combines the stability of a sedan with the power of an SUV on the roads.

A car characterized by a wonderful and elegant exterior design and interior features equipped with the latest technology with the highest level of professionalism and perfection, available in its two categories: SFX00 and SFX01

Warranty of three years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.

Toyota Belta

The Toyota Belta belongs to the sedan car category, and the car comes in two categories: the XA HIGH and the GA LAW.

 The car has a streamlined shape, thanks to its technology and features that compete with other cars of its class in the market, in addition to its high reliability, distinctive design, and powerful engine.

Toyota Rumion

A car that strikes the perfect balance between plenty of space for a good time and smooth driving around town or on the highway for a weekend getaway with family and friends.

 The car is a new contender in the category of 7-seater family cars, and it is the family car in the first place, with an interior space suitable for large families.

Although it is a family car, it is equipped with the capabilities of modern technology in harmony with the bold exterior design.

Toyota Urban Cruiser

It is the latest car in the SUV category, and it has a very distinctive and wonderful design with high capabilities, carrying all the means of safety, security and modern technologies.

Considering that Belta / Rumion and Urban Cruiser are completely new models in the Libyan market

These three categories come with a longer warranty of five years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.

On Thursday, 24^th November, Toyota Libya F.Z.C. held a graduation ceremony for the 18^th group of the “Discover Your Talent” training program, which included 19 graduates, and held at the Radisson Blu hotel in Tripoli, with the attendance of the families of the graduates, as well as representatives of the United Nations Development Program, the European Union and the Ministry of Local Government.

The event included the announcement of the second Internship Training programme, which is held at the authorized Dealer workshops, this training is for 11 trainees in the field of vehicle maintenance. There was also an award announcement for the Authorized Dealer Service Advisors who participated in the second national skill contest for Toyota Service Advisors.

The Second National Skill Contest was held in October 2022 by Toyota Libya F.Z.C. at its Headquarters Training Facility for service advisors between four contestants from its Authorized Dealer Network.

The title of Champion of the Second National Contest for Service Advisors was Mr. Muhammad Al-Nihom – Service Advisor at Mas Company in Benghazi.

The contest is part of the activities required by Toyota Motor Corporation Japan for excellence in customer service.

The contest covered customer reception, and vehicle delivery to the customers after completion of the work requested and in accordance with Toyota standards.

On Thursday, 10-11-2022, DCAC ceremony was held at MAS Showroom, Toyota Libya’s authorized dealer in Benghazi, to honour the two winners of the DCAC international Award in the age group of less than 8 years, in addition to the previous awards which they received in the local tournament in Libya.
Each winner received a financial prize equivalent to $3,000.

This award was presented by Toyota Japan as compensation for Japan trip cancelation due to the Corona pandemic and the closure of Japan to foreign visitors until further notice.
We encourage all children to participate in this year’s competition, which will start next week, God willing.

Toyota Libya has unveiled the all new “Toyota Starlet”. On August 4^th, 2022. Replete with a revamped modern exterior & interior design, an updated engine and several more features that are sure to please a wide range of car enthusiast. Features include LED headlights, fog lamps, surrounded with chrome for an elegant and majestic look.

Under the bonnet, the Starlet is equipped with a powerful 1.5-litre petrol motor, and a 4-speed automatic transmission.

A 7-inch touchscreen system is now standard on GA model, while the top-spec XA gains a bigger (9-inch) unit. Both systems are compatible with Apple Car play and Android Auto.

Additional safety features have been fitted to all versions of the Starlet, stability control, ABS, EBD and hill-start assist are standard. Rear parking sensors are stock equipment, while the XA versions are further equipped with a reverse-view camera.

On Tuesday 28^th June 2022, the 1^st International Forum and Exhibition for Free Zones was held at Misrata Free Zone, Misrata, Libya, in the presence of several ministers, heads of local companies and international bodies, foreign ambassadors and foreign companies.

Toyota Libya F.Z.C. participated with the latest models of Toyota cars, and training simulator models of DYT program (Discover Your Talent) which has been established by Toyota Libya F.Z.C. since 2012 as part of its social contribution to raise the efficiency of the trainees who participate in the course and provide them with job opportunities in the field of car maintenance.

The Misrata International Forum and Exhibition for Free Zones is the first and largest economic forum held in Libya, where several national and foreign companies participated in its sessions for two days 28^th & 29^th of June 2022.

Safari Rally Kenya had been the world’s toughest rally and came back to WRC calendar after 19 years in 2021. Toyota Gazoo Racing team won 1st and 2nd finish in the rally 2021 and will back to this challenging safari roads this year June 23rd to 26th with brand-new rally car: GR Yaris Rally1 to grab the victory again.

For the rally 2022, Toyota Gazoo Racing Team will enter to the race with The GR YARIS Rally1 which designed to the revolutionary new-for-2022 FIA Rally1 technical regulations. For the first time, the cars in rallying’s top category have hybrid electric power.

The activities of Auto Mechanic Libya in its first session were successfully held and concluded at Misrata Exhibition ground in the industrial area Rwaisat, from November 27^th 2021 to November 30^th 2021.

The exhibition opening ceremony, was attended by the Minister of Economy representing the ministry of Economy as an honorary sponsor, the Mayor of Misurata City and a number of VIPs from the governmental sector and private companies.

The speeches of the VIP guests focused on the importance of these events and their role to present the local and international companies, to strengthen the national economy. Also, they stressed the necessity of supporting the local institutions, in order to ensure the quality of local products and their availability in the local market.

Almasar Almuttahed, one of Toyota Libya Authorized Dealers, participated as a golden sponsor in this exhibition with the latest Toyota car models for the year, they also exhibited transportation for special needs, which was the first time in Libya.
